Standard 1.2.11 [Technology]:  The pre-service teacher understands the theory and application of technology in educational settings and has adequate technological skills to create meaningful learning opportunities for all students.

Performance Indicators: The pre-service teacher

 

1.2.11.1: Uses his or her knowledge of subject matter, teaching and learning, and technology to facilitate experiences that advance student learning, creativity, and innovation in both face-to-face and virtual environments.

1.2.11.2: Designs, develops, and evaluates authentic learning experiences and assessments incorporating contemporary tools and resources to maximize content learning in context.

1.2.11.3: Exhibits knowledge, skills, and work processes representative of an innovative professional in a global and digital society.

1.2.11.4:Understands local and global societal issues and responsibilities in an evolving digital culture and exhibits legal and ethical behavior in their professional practices.

1.2.11.5: Continuously improve his or her professional practice, models lifelong learning, and exhibits leadership in their school and professional community by promoting and demonstrating the effective use of digital tools and resources.
